Legal advice, consultancy or legal audit?
A consultancy is defined as a professional activity through which the consultancy firm will offer its support to clients who need it so that they are able to develop their activities, consult doubts and achieve and understand certain situations that, otherwise, they would not be able to resolve. The main benefit provided by a legal, labour, tax, financial or administrative consultancy (among others) is to clarify issues concerning the area of interest that prevent the company and/or organisation from continuing to develop its professional activity normally.
A legal consultancy, on the other hand, is an advisory service focused on the achievement of objectives and the resolution of managerial and business problems. It is also defined as the discovery and evaluation of new opportunities, improvement of learning and implementation of relevant changes. The most significant difference with respect to consultancy is that consultancy provides, supplies or teaches information about the relevant field, whereas consultancy goes deeper into the subject, providing methods of reasoning that help to deal with situations.
An audit, finally, is a mostly financial service in which the accounting and finances of a company or entity are analysed. It represents the examination of the financial statements of an entity or company, so that a professional opinion can be issued regarding the financial situation, the results of operations, variations in capital, among others.
Legal consultancy: what it is
A legal consultancy is a legal consultancy that takes care of all matters related to the application of legal regulations, laws and regulations with the aim of advising and solving complex legal issues. The services provided by a legal consultancy include specialised assistance in all areas of law, legal representation and preparation of legal opinions, legal documents, etc…
Legal consultancy: keys
Legal consultancy includes activities related to labour law, tax law, civil law and all issues related to legislative management. As we have explained above, consultancy goes beyond consultancy, which is why we propose effective systems of action in accordance with the regulations in force and always adjusting to the needs of each client.
Legal auditing: accounting and law
The legal audit is the most statistical and technical of the three activities and covers the analysis of all legal aspects of a company or entity, such as its corporate constitution, labour relations between employees, tax aspects or the legal situation of its assets. The result is presented in the form of an audit report detailing more specific aspects, legal diagnoses, conclusions and suggestions.
